  1. Well said, Nora! I, too, felt manipulated by Ragen after reading her book, and I think her agenda is all too clear. While it’s true that all writers have a persuasive purpose in their writing, it’s always important to listen to voices like yours that inform us as to the often negative and harmful repercussions of those purposes, especially when it comes to religious purposes.
