  3. I’ve read all of novels Goodman mentions but the newest one and I treasure them all. As she says, they are very different. What they have in common is characters who are unique individuals and whom the reader can find both annoying and lovable, both at the same time in some instances. However, I think she ignores another novel she wrote for teens called The Other Side. It’s science fiction, set in a post ecological disaster dystopia. Sound good? Not nearly as good as the others! Am I wrong about Goodman being the author?
